Zero Tolerance
We do not tolerate any form of unlawful discrimination or inappropriate behaviour. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Direct or indirect discrimination;
- Bullying or intimidation;
- Harassment, including sexual harassment;
- Victimisation of anyone who raises a genuine concern;
- Offensive language, abusive behaviour, or actions that create an intimidating, hostile, or disrespectful environment.
Any breach of this policy may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or permanent removal from the academy where appropriate.
Our Community
Every member of BJJ UNION plays an important role in maintaining a positive culture. We encourage everyone to:
- Treat others with courtesy and respect;
- Support teammates regardless of experience or background;
- Help create a welcoming atmosphere for new members;
- Lead by example both on and off the mats;
- Speak up if they witness behaviour that conflicts with our values.
Raising a Concern
If you believe you have experienced or witnessed discrimination, harassment, or inappropriate behaviour, we encourage you to report your concerns to a member of the academy management.
All reports will be treated seriously, handled confidentially where possible, and investigated fairly. No individual will be disadvantaged for raising a genuine concern in good faith.
